Lago di Garda

Bogliaco & Gargnano

We are on Lake Garda on the west bank of Bogliaco and Gargnano territory that is part of the AltoGarda Park.

Bogliaco is known by sailors from all over the world thanks to the Centomiglia sailing competition which takes place in early September.

Gargnano is an elegant town with a beautiful lake promenade, holiday destination known since the last century. Rich palaces such as the eighteenth-century Palazzo Bettoni a stone's throw from us, Villa Feltrinelli now a de-luxe hotel, risen to his own residence by Benito Mussolini during the Repubblica Sociale Italiana from1943 till 1945 and Palazzo Feltrinelli, seat of his secretariat. Very interesting to visit the splendid cloister of St. Francis, the parish of St. James and the traces remained of the ancient gardens of lemons as well as the many possibilities for walks in the hilly surroundings.

Toscolano Maderno

Toscolano Maderno is a small centre at 8 kilometers away from Bogliaco with a new and long promenade, once a paper centre in Paper Valley that you can visit on foot.

Things to see:

  • Paper Valley and the Paper Museum
  • Roman villa
  • Romanic church S.Andrea in Maderno
  • Andrea Celesti’s canvas at Toscolano parish church
  • Promenade

Salò is the commercial centre more lively at 15 kilometers from here, well known for its numerous shops and bars overlooking the lake with a beautiful promenade.

Things to see:

  • The Dome
  • “Magnifica Patria” Palace and “Podestà” Palace, now the Town Hall
  • Historical centre and promenade

At about 50 kilometers from us in the south of the lake, Sirmione is a narrow peninsula overlooking the lake, known in particular for its thermal baths and the power of his healing sulfur waters. Beautiful village walkable, highly sought after with facilities of a high standard of quality.

Things to see:

  • The Castle
  • The Caves of Catullo
  • Old Town
  • Spa

Isle of Garda

Do not miss an excursion boat to circumnavigate the tiny private island with a beautiful villa in Venetian Gothic style. It is also possible to visit the island: booking is necessary.

Punta di S. Vigilio

A little haven of tranquility and relaxation remained suspended in time on the eastern shore of Lake Garda between Torri and Garda. A marina, a historic inn, a house, a church, the Bay “delle Sirene” and a large green park. Enchanting!
